Awards

Fellows of the Society of Plastics Engineers

We are proud to announce that MMSPE member Dr. Duane Priddy has been named as a 2008 Fellow of the Society of Plastics Engineers. This recognition is in part for his developments in the fields of controlled radical polymerization (CRP) technology enabling the creation of unique polymers such as SAN butadiene block copolymers. In addition, Dr. Priddy developed and patented a continuous anionic polystyrene technology. This technology allowed for the creation of polystyrene with improved properties with a reduction in manufacturing cost.
